Morze Martwe – Czerwone Artwork for Czerwone, album by polish emo punx Morze Martwe, which was released on LP, tape and CD in cooperation of D.I.Y. Koło Records and Peleton Records. I made monoprints, linocut prints and relief prints using cake mats for this and also some drawings, then scanned it all and manipulated digitally. I also made two lyrics videos for songs Bezszelest and Najlepsi wrogowie. Illustration for !Free Palestine! calendar I contributed with one illustration for the two-year, bilingual, beneficious risograph calendar in support of a free Palestine, published by Roleta2 collective and printed by Kudlawerkstatt. The calendar features a total of 24 artworks, each accompanied by a text about a specific form of resistance against the oppression and genocide of the Palestinian people perpetrated by the State of Israel and its allies. You can buy the calendar on the Roleta2 collective website. Proceeds from the sale are primarily intended to support humanitarian projects in Gaza; a portion of the funds will also be allocated to support Roleta2 and Kudlawerkstatt projects. My illustration appears on the page for March and is accompanied by text about direct action. „Palestine Action is a British direct action network that aims to end global participation in the “genocidal and apartheid regime.” It has attacked British factories belonging to Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems through occupations and destruction of property, and since March last year has been on the UK’s list of terrorist organizations for spray-painting two RAF aircraft at Brize Norton base. Papercore issue 15 I had the pleasure to do the cover art for the fifteenth issue of Papercore – international diy punk zine. Inside you will find columns, interviews with Margaret Killjoy, Billordo, Mother Earth, reviews and also third part of the Modern Punk Artists serie where you can read interviews with Fuzzgun, Onno Inferno, Kateřina Rálišová, Gourgurl, Robin Roche, Marena Skinner and also with me. This serie of interviews is done by Marina Margarina, check her stuff too! I also illustrated the flyer for the presentation of the zine. Whole zine was printed on riso at CALE in Marseille. Song is about the situation of people stucked at the border of Poland and Belarus. There are so many conflicts in the world now, some more visible than other and people have many reasons to leave their homes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_bFyPWy4r8&t= Hlas (Voice) Artist book Artist book i made specifically for my exhibition in Archive of Fine Arts in Prague. Book is handbound. Coloured pencils used on title page. Inside you can find chlorophyl prints on Ginkgo Biloba leaves, the leaves themselves are sewn into the paper. Chlorophyl prints will slowly fade everytime the book is opened and exposed to daylight, so in the end only brown leaves will remain. I used just fallen leaves, that i collected under the tree in local botanical garden. Other side of pages are printed with linocut stamps i made and different objects i found. Handmade paper for title page and the pages with leaves/prints are given to me by my dear friend Aneta Willertová. She made it up north with her friend using local moss etc. Thank you very much! The semi-transparent paper is japanese handmade one.
