Illustration for !Free Palestine! calendar I contributed with one illustration for the two-year, bilingual, beneficious risograph calendar in support of a free Palestine, published by Roleta2 collective and printed by Kudlawerkstatt. The calendar features a total of 24 artworks, each accompanied by a text about a specific form of resistance against the oppression and genocide of the Palestinian people perpetrated by the State of Israel and its allies.  You can buy the calendar on the Roleta2 collective website. Proceeds from the sale are primarily intended to support humanitarian projects in Gaza; a portion of the funds will also be allocated to support Roleta2 and Kudlawerkstatt projects. My illustration appears on the page for March and is accompanied by text about direct action. „Palestine Action is a British direct action network that aims to end global participation in the “genocidal and apartheid regime.” It has attacked British factories belonging to Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems through occupations and destruction of property, and since March last year has been on the UK’s list of terrorist organizations for spray-painting two RAF aircraft at Brize Norton base. Až zem začala tát (When the soil began to melt) Installation i did for the „Zvukoprostor“, event that took place in Orlová (CZ) in club Futra. Whole evening was thematically based on poem „Báseň skoro jako vánoční pohlednice“ by poet Václav Hrabě. Lights, shadows, branches and lots of threads. Mostly made from found and recycled stuff. Fallen branches from nearby forest returned back after the event, threads packed for use in the future, lamps now in possesion of our daughter.
