Zbytky (Remnants)

Inscribed in the house are the names of some of the city districts of my hometown, which have all fallen victim to black coal mining. From early childhood we watched decay not only in the urbanistic sense of the word. But also the desire to fight for life. Joy and sorrow. And every time i look at the roads that lead nowhere and the ruins that slowly disappear in the growing forest, i have ambivalent feelings. On the one hand i feel the sadness for the disappearing history of people's destinies. But on the other i feel joy that nature is taking back what we took from her hands.
