Artist book

Artist book i made specifically for my exhibition in Archive of Fine Arts in Prague. Book is handbound. Coloured pencils used on title page. Inside you can find chlorophyl prints on Ginkgo Biloba leaves, the leaves themselves are sewn into the paper. Chlorophyl prints will slowly fade everytime the book is opened and exposed to daylight, so in the end only brown leaves will remain. I used just fallen leaves, that i collected under the tree in local botanical garden. Other side of pages are printed with linocut stamps i made and different objects i found.

Handmade paper for title page and the pages with leaves/prints are given to me by my dear friend Aneta Willertová. She made it up north with her friend using local moss etc. Thank you very much! The semi-transparent paper is japanese handmade one.
